I was driving on the freeway doing 80 (same as everyone else), when a bird flies right front of my windshield. The next thing I know there's a dull thump as it smacks the glass and is blown away. I had a vague glimpse of its wings spread apart on my windshield before it disappeared. I didn't mean to kill it. 🙁

Yeah.. I've done that twice now, 1st time was the worst since it was a drake mallard duck, huge thump with that one. Other was a smaller type bird.. poor birds 🙁

you've embraced technology. now you must live with the consequences.

anybody have any idea why a bird does that? they always seem to swoop down right in front of cars, narrowly missing. maybe the car pushes bugs in front of it, and its an "easy meal". hmmm...that sounds pretty stupid now that i said it.
