So if they have laws against be offered large sums of money for testing, how come it is not being enforced? Doesn't matter where in the world you are, people will take risks for money. I bet if you had a task that had 90% chance of the participate ending up dead but was offering $10K, you would find people who would be willing to die to provide for their family. Some places people can be bought much cheaper.

I cannot show you even one example where anything in India is enforced. In this current state.. it is logistically impossible to enforce anything. Frankly, I am surprised they eradicated polio in India.
 
See, I came into this thread totally expecting it to be about native americans.

Poor people selling themselves a guinea pigs is nothing new, really. For that matter, you can always sell plasma.

Sad tho.
