Hi,

I recently built my computer for the first time and I'm experience some problems with the image quality. I have the M261VP LED HDTV, and my GPU is Radeon 6870. My problem is that the font displayed on the screen is of poor quality and it seems like the overall resolution is very low (even though it is set to 1920X1080 under screen resolution). Whenever I watch any movie or view anything fullscreen it becomes slightly pixelated (I can see a lot of individual pixels). I don't know if the problem is with the monitor, or the graphics card, or if theres some setting I have to mess with. I tried updating the driver for the graphics card, and everytime it just installs the ATI Catalyst Control Center. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi! First i would try another monitor. if a friend have one would be the best. i d'ont think it's your video card.it could be. but the way you explain your problem it's more a monitor problem.

Don't know about the video issue I see pixels often too unless it's HD material and even then I see some.

About the font though, are you using Firefox? If so just google "font rendering issues on FF4"

I have it and it sux. I use a 6950, but that is not the cause. So now I use IE9.

Changing the overscan to 0% actually helped a lot. Although some things are still a little bit blurrier than they should be. Another main issue I have now is that red text in games is really blurry for some reason. All other colors are displayed fine, but for some reason, only the red color is messed up. Any reason for this?

not sure. I know that some games ignore overscan settings. also lots of TVs have special PC mode, which is often triggered by setting label of HDMI input to 'PC'
