My grandfather fought with the Desert Rats in North Africa, some of his tales are insane (he's not the type to embellish). One I particularly remember was how they would shoot at the German armor and see the shells bounce off, to then have that tank turn towards them and start firing, not a pretty sight.
 
:thumbsup: Seen these before, but it's always nice to see them again. Walt Disney's animated "Air Power" movie is very well done, presenting a former Russian Colonel's case about the supremacy of air power to the American public at large.

Actually most of it (did you see all three parts?) is about how to use the rifle since it was destined to the troops that were supposed to wield it when engaging Axis armour.

 
very cool. Odd, though...considering old man Walt was a suspected Nazi sympathizer. Then again, maybe I'm confusing him with Henry Ford (well-known to be pals with Hitler).
