unless the guy is a real good sport about it, expect some major trouble like everyone else said. even if he is a good sport and HR finds otu about it, it could still be trouble.

So are you saying that even if the victim and the cameraman are okay with it HR can still make trouble? I think you're misunderstanding the real conflict here...

i would think that unprofessional stuff like this can't be ignored. someone will complain i'm sure.

Fvck, I'd be the first guy in line to report it. I wouldn't want to leave a shred of doubt that I didn't approve or participate in this.

And in doing so, you don't have to be a rat. Just mention it to HR as an FYI like "Dunno who started it, but this is what's going on..."

Exactly.

just offer the dude a promotiona and a promise to be reviewed soon. If he is smart, he will threaten a lawsuit, or file a lawsuit and then make an out of court deal.

But makes you wonder, how was the picture taken, and who took it? and why was he sitting and working on the toilet?
I know, Lets call moulder and scully!

LOL at all the ultra sexual harrassment nazi's in here. As if our society isn't litigious enough, we really need to be clogging up our courtrooms and boardrooms with this kind of petty garbage:(

If this stupid prank bothers you, send the pic to the victim and tell him his "buddy" is passing it around the company. Then everybody gather in a circle in the parking lot at quiting time to watch the victim exact his revenge on the perp. Thats what we would've done in the old days:)

If this happened between me and my buddies, then thats probably exactly what would happen. If this was a blue collar job, maybe. If this was a professional environment, I agree with the above posters. Too bad the company has to be punished by the dumbass workers/managers though.

I can see it now. All cell phones with camera's will be banned from the workplace. This is the most likely event to take place. Either that or all cell phones will be banned at work. My wife works at a bank and they have to lock up their cell phones, purses and what-not. This is all due to security.

I personally think that cell-phones with cameras are a security risk to any company with any restricted, secret, or protected information.

camera phones are already banned at my office. Its getting really hard to find a decent phone without a camera. I just leave my phone in my car now.
