These sorts of things happen very frequently across the US anymore, and it's getting more and more frequent.

I wouldn't have a problem at all if the police were authorized to just Gatling gun these crowds into submission, and I'd feel exactly that same way if they were roving groups of white kids assaulting random people and stealing stuff and destroying property.

Treat them like a herd of zombies and just level it. Do that once or twice and I'd wager you'll see this behavior dry up.

I've never really understood the whole 'get together and randomly dance' thing but if a bunch of people want to do that, more power to them.

If a bunch of people want to do that plus beat up innocent people and steal their stuff, I feel like q-boat tactics would work excellently as a deterrent (ironic as the original q-boats were impressive failures) but I'm unclear on just how necessary that would be....

edit for those who don't understand my point above: give a few people with concealed carry licenses a handgun and a shotgun; have them well-dressed where attacks occur wearing iphones and with earbuds in (but not with music playing). If attacked.........attackers are in for a lollercoaster of a ride.

The city of Chicago demographically is very black, if it were white people in Chicago the same thing would occur just with white people instead. Because its an economic issue at its core IMO.

Democrats scare away all the viable businesses and jobs and this is the result. There are still jobs for the 1% in Chicago and alot of crap jobs but no middle class jobs and they turn to crime, it could be anyone who lived there. Just happens to be blacks. Get over it.

I would love to see how you would have reacted if you were in the area when this took place yesterday and they targeted you...

I've never seen one of these flash mobs...but when I go to Illinois for my Internship in May I might see them. Never seen something like that in Michigan or Virginia. Is this a Chicago thing?
