Poor 3dmark 2001 score!

I have an athlon xp 3000+ @2.167, 1.5GB of DDR 333, and a MSI 6600GT. I only get 13,572 in 3dmark 2001. I see people with my same setup with a Radeon 9700pro and get 15K+. My 3dmark 03 score is 7k+ and my 05 score is 3k+, but what could be wrong with my 3dmark 01 score?
 
your cpu is the bottleneck in 3dmark01. why do you care anyway? its 3dmark 01. your other scores are fine.
