These two do look quite alike from this perspective...

Meh, the Pontiac looks better. It also does not have those stupid looking headlights that Honda is using now.

i think the pontiac does. lower roof line, sleeker back end. the front end on the honda looks like its a continuous curve, no separation from windshield to bumper. i like a car to have a hood. im not a fan of grey/ silver/ white cars tho.

Honda got a lot of former GM people to come work for them. Anybody know who did the major design work for the new civic?

Lowwer part of the civic door reminds me of the Saturn Ion a little.

Well the SI now has VTEC lights which run up as your high cam engages....awesome you can see it and "feel" it Yo!.

I used to love Honda (owned 2 Civics, 2 Accords and a Prelude was my very first car) but they've really lost their way. Honda exteriors AND interiors are butt ugly now.

The curve of the side windows and the slope of the rear window look the same, but that's where the similarities end.

This.

Those cars look nothing alike.

If you look behind the front quarter panel and ignore the Honda's scalloped door and notchy trunk, I think they look very similar. Basically the side profile. I guess I'm looking at the basic shape rather than the details.

If nothing else, I'd say they both look extremely MEH
