Stay Away! From GM... I'd recommend a Focus or Corolla V6 power is overhyped..

Its not a bad car, my friend has a 2001. He's actually looking to unload it since he just got a Durango from auction. Must be awesome to have a family of mechanics...

I have a black 4-door GT with chrome wheels and gray interior, that I leased in 2000. It's been a great car with zero problems; stylish, comfortable, and pretty quick for what it is. I don't like your choice in color, but that's just personal taste.

My friend who got his 93 Lexus SC300 stolen... got it for $9K!

His 93 Lexus would definitely OWN that Grand Am you're looking into.. $12K WHat is you major malfunction Pvt Pyle?
Some people have no logic when purchasing a car... btw I own a GM ( 01 chevy astro) bought brand new for 16K at the time dealer wanted to get rid of inventory :D Or else I would never look into a Gm vehicle

Must be awsome to have a family of mechanic

I agree... no problem is too big to take care of :D

Umm, not everyone can get a Lexus. Insurance on a import like that would probably be out the roof for me. Plus, I'd rather get something about a decade newer. It's not called logic buddy, it's called opinions.

Umm.. look into a 93 Lexus... you'd be suprised to find that it is 3 generations AHEAD of the 2002 Grand Am. I'm serious.

I've had a Grand Am SE and a Grand Prix SE. Loved both those cars. They ran fine and had zero problems not bad for used cars. Next car will be new but still trying to decide if I'm gonna get an import or not.

A definate YES if you get the GT. We just let our 2001 lease GT1 with all options go for a new 2003 30th anniversary in silver also.

Bargain for the bucks!! Good performace and ride plus pretty roomy, back seat especially.

0-60 under 8 sec. (literature) Dont worry about it being a girls car, I drive a Trans Am and enjoy her car also.

We had 0 problems in 3 years and my girl friend never heard of servicing a car! Put gas in it and go! I did make her get oil changes though.:)

Yeah, I'm gonna hve to agree with him. Grand AM is a woman's car, but it's not as strict as a woman's car compared to the miata or beetle...

I see a guys drving them too... I'd say the ratio for girl:boy Grand Am drivers is about 3:2... thats a rough guesstimate though...

if it helps any, all my friends who drive grand am's are male.

Some people have no logic when they post!

Not a bad car, but do some shopping around first.
