That information was on a Cadillac forum. I want a 2009 Pontiac G6 GT COUPE, is that 1SA?

Could be either. 1sa would be a base model and 1sb would be upscale. That's all I have been able to determine. Also seems to be a cheaper 1sv model in there somewhere.

What does it matter? You go see what is on the dealer's lot. You'd be crazy to custom order a car these days. And if you must know, the dealer will be able to tell you, but you'll have to push them to go look it up.

1SA is a crap version... i thought i had already responded in here, but i guess i ddint..

1sa has, no cruise, no adjustable pedals, and no remote key fob..
1sb has all of those.. and remote start iirc

oh, and when i was selling, i believe there was like a $500 difference between the two, and the 1SB leased out better, and has more room to negotiate than teh 1SA... the 1SA is your loss leader advertisement.

You sure this refers to a G6?

I found this on the GM employee website

Model. .Description
2ZG69 G6 - Sedan
2ZH37 G6 - GT Coupe
2ZH69 G6 - GT Sedan
2ZM37 G6 - GXP COUPE
2ZM69 G6 - GXP SEDAN
2ZH67 G6 - GT Convertible

Unless there was some midyear revision, I don't know.

nice car, and that color was the most popular one we had when i was selling... though i always felt the 3.5V6 wasnt necessary, the 4cyl moved that car pretty well, the 3.5l really does haul it.

Here's what I've come up with and I don't know if it's going to be that much help.

The 1SA is listed as the G6 GT Coupe - Limited Availability

The 1SB is listed as the NEW G6 GT Coupe

Both of these are 2009 models, so the only thing I can figure is that there was a mid-year option package change. My guess is that the 1SA option package was eliminated. Limited availability means just that, whatever the dealers have on hand is all that is available.

As others have said, 1SA and 1SB are option groups. I cannot determine what the difference is between these groups. The higher the letter, the more goodies the vehicle has. This applies across all GM lines.

Myself, I go out to the dealers lot on Sundays and walk around looking at the cars so I don't have to deal with salespeople. Maybe by looking at window stickers you can determine more.

I wish I could have helped more.
