I kind of feel we are a liberal crowd so I devised this poll to find out.
I mean no offense to any that may be offended by the personal nature of some of the above questions.
peace

why is there a big gap between lower middle clase and upper class? you're leaving out 50% of the population

caucasian isn't an ethnicity. and, as you're using it, is the same a 'eropean.'

Under marital status you need to add widow/widower which is what I am however I chose single to complete the question.

I'm a white middle class professional who is registered as republican but is very centerist in his views on politics and socialism. I support capital punishment and I am pro choice. I also support embryonic stem cell research and I have no problem with pornography. I am in my late 30s, I have been married to my first and only wife for 14 years. We have a son and are still happily married with no plans to divorce.

I'm also of the opinion that our country is way too lax on enforcing its borders and immigration laws. I think the republican party has failed miserably in this...in fact, I think they outright suck ass at enforcing our borders and immigration laws...god knows they've had enough time in office to actually do something about it.

I also don't give a damn about religion or the conservative religious agenda...in fact, I think the religious bent of the current administration is hurting our country and our standing in the world community. Not to mention the number of hypocrites parading as moral beacons who are actively advising this administration.

in the category for military service you left out a "retired" category (of which i am). it's quite distinct from being "discharged", the nearest category that i could pick. 🙂

Well that settles it, I'm going to run on a platform of embryonic stem cell research and porn! Think of my poll numbers!! My target demographic will be middle-aged white guys with more than 4+ computers in their house! I will carry the AT vote to victory!!

(My name is DealMonkey and I approve this message)

😀

I think asking questions about Upper, middle, lower middle class are irrelevent. There is not clear definitions what middle class actually is. Some people think that middle class is making $200,000.00.

What do you think is the definition of lower and upper middle class?

I think the average income in the USA is around $40,000.00. . . .

Using actual number makes more sense.

What is lower middle calls?

What is Mid-range Middle Class?

What is upper Middle Class?

I guess "Independent" would mean you're registered to another party(Green, Libertarian, Constitution, Independent*yes, such a party exists*) besides the major 2.

Unaffiliated would mean you're not registered to any party I suppose...

But there was also a choice for "other" that I figured included the greens, socialists workers party, pot party, nazi party, etc...

I also suppose it depends on how big your family is that's sharing the income, a certain income that puts a family of 4 in the lower-middle class would allow a single person to live fairly well.

as to class I left the definition up to the individual as I asked "who we are" I was looking for opinions and feelings more than numbers. The fact that this question caused people to really reflect was IMO a good thing
