I'm impresed by it, but also glad that it didn't beat the crap out of the Radeon 9800, since one of those babies is on thier way to me (inside my new computer) as I write this message.

To be quite honest, the nV25 is what the nV30 should have been. Im quite impressed with what nVidia has been able to do with it.
The "UltraShadow" feature is interesting, as a few of the latest and yet to be released games, uses shadows quite heavily, so that`ll give the nV35 a bit of an edge over other cards.
BUT, i`d still go for the 9800 given the choice.
Theres more to video cards than 3d performance, such as image quality, dvd performance, flexibility, ect; and the 9800 offers all these, i still dont think that nVidia are anywhere near the image quality that both ATI & Matrox offer.

I feel that the time of nVidia dominating the 3d market is coming to a end, and that ATi will now dominate it for a few years, as nVidia has.
At the moment, and the forseeable future, ATI has a more complete product line, able to cater for all price ranges, all with respectable performances. nVidia on the other hand, has released the 5200 & 5600, which can`t hold a candle to ATIs competing products.

I am sorry but Nvidia just whipped ATIs butt with the NV35. Nvidia is back. ATi is in no position until the next speed bump in July to compete for top dog. The NV35 basically beat the R350 into the ground and is looking for more.
And rememeber this is on the first revision of the drivers for the NV35 while the R350 is going on its 2nd revision.

AA\AF quality is the same. But Nvidia is now faster.

Ummm.... most of the benchmarks show it to be faster, but not RADICALLY faster (with the possible exception of Quake3. Whoopee. :) OTOH, maybe all older games will also soar! Time will tell...)
That small gain was obtained by clocking the card up to the moon and back which requires uber-cooling.

It's a big step in the right direction, but compare it to a Radeon 9700 you can get for easily half the price which "does more with less".... They're back on top, but not by much... it wouldn't take much to topple them for the speed crown again.
