How do you like your steaks?

I like mines rare. It just tastes so good when you take a bite outta the steak and blood gushes out of the meat and seaps into your tounge's taste buds. Chew it up and swallow. Salivate over the rest of the steak sitting in a thick red pool on the plate... YUM!
 
dude, try this, get the most expensive type of meat there is, dont know the name in english. Cut it into about 3cm slices and roll becon around it, stick it together with a toothpick. Then fry it on a pan with butter for few minutes. Tastes so well, so bloody.
 
If you buy a steak well done you have no idea what you are getting. I hear its usually the f-ups in the kitchen or the worst cut of meat available since it is fully cooked.
 
Thats why i dont order steaks in a place where i eat out, i buy them and cook them myself because i like them well done
 
i like my steak medium... i don't want it to moo or scream out in pain when i bite into it, but i don't want it looking like it just walked out of hell either... so best of both worlds.. medium 🙂

 
I like mine medium rare.

But hey! You left out blue steaks! I know someone who likes them.

They are seared but so rare you can see the blue FDA label still on the meat.

I also like beef raw when sliced thin. Put some lemon juice on it and dude, is it good! 🙂

I also like raw oysters, fish, lobster, shrimp, and other exotic seafood. 🙂 You never had lobster until you get a live one and tear off it's head, rip it's tail flesh out, and slice it up. It's meat is so tender and sweet! 🙂

Of course, chicken and pork are no-no's. I don't touch it if it's not cooked.

if its cooked, it better be done right, yeah a perfect rare-medium rare is best, of course, a roast thats been broiled just right, and so long its like falling off the bone is good too.
 
Well, sashimi doesn't ususally include lemon. It ususally has wasabi on the side along with pickled ginger. 🙂
 
Right down the middle here, I love a nice warm center that's still slightly pink. Medium for me is the way to go. Most of the flavor is still in the steak and it has just the right temperature and toughness to be unbelievable. Man, I want a steak now. =/

A roast, yes. But a steak, when cooked, has NO taste. That's just wrong. I see these people drentch their fully cooked steaks in A1 sauce, but I use the stuff lightly to flavor only.
