This tax cut for wealthy Americans that Kerry keeps talking about? Am I considered wealthy, I make less than 30k/year and I benefitted from the tax cut.😕

really? you benefited from the cut on Capital Gains taxes? the cut on Dividend taxes??

if so, then you might only make 30k / year, but your personal assest are way out of proportion to your income.

My tax bracket dropped and I'll be allowed more deductions for school next year.

you missed the point, yes, there was a general tax break everyone benefited from, but there were targeted tax breaks in addition to those general tax breaks that only the wealthy benefited from.

My taxes stayed the same, and my college tuition jumped to to state budget cuts.

I hate to say it, but college tuition will increase every year - regardless of who is our President.

Can we knock it off with the nit picky sh!t? You have two people under a great amount of stress, they're going to make mistakes.

Viper GTS

No. It is funny that people nit pick on a Bush-ism, but heaven forbid that somebody say something about Kerry, right?

Kerry should explain his plan more instead of just telling people to go online... Explain the basics, and let people know where to find more in depth info.

Yeah, but this year it was worse, and due to state budget cuts, due to federal budget cuts AFAIK.

Trickle down economics 😀

If you want to get real mad, go after the sellers of text books. $90 - $150 for a text book is freaking outrageous! 🙂

GO KERRY! There's that passion i've been looking for!

ironic isn't it?? look over the last 25 yrs, democrats have consistently run lower budget deficits than republicans.

the problem is, its easy to be careful deciding how much money to give to the poor, but we have no control when it comes to defense spending.

hence, when democrats try to raise entitlements they are never as successful at it as republicans are at raising defense spending.

that is scary.

the problem is, defense spending is also entitlements, but it's entitlements for the rich, defense contractors, haliburton etc.

LOL. I'm with you there 100%. No frickin' kidding. Our college book store is "run" by Barnes and Noble. But dang, the prices on Barnes and noble.com are like 20% off MSRP. Where's my 20% off?? Who can I blame for that? 😀
