yes, already have.

if im seeing a woman and she pulls this 'im saving it for marriage' line...dont let the door hit you on the way out.
Well of course... obviously you want them for sex and they'd be of no use to you if they don't want to, no matter the excuse.

no, i would make sure and find this out early.
i believe sex is an integral part of a relationship.
its not the end all be all, but if she has that sort of belief system, it would more than likely be diametrically opposed to mine and we wouldnt last anyways.

Yes, already have.

At times, I wish I'd waited because it would've been amazing to experience everything for the first time with the love of my life, the person I'm with now. On the other hand, I guess I'm glad I had other experiences, because I think I might've been a bit restless otherwise (always wondering what else was out there... now that I know what else is out there, I'm absolutely thrilled and 110% satisfied with what I have :) ).

How many of you have heard of people saying they wish they had waited ?

I've heard people say that they weren't ready for sex the first time that they did it but never that they wish they waited till marriage.
I think it's very rare that anybody is ready for their first time. A lot of unfamiliar flesh and whatnot. But you learn quick.

Agreed. I've heard quite a few people say that they wish they hadn't done it with a particular person/in a particular situation, but never that they wish they hadn't ever done it at all. If you have the experience with someone that you connected with, then all seems to work out well.

Besides that, I'm going to have to agree with the poster that said sex is an integral part of a relationship. It's not necessarily THE most important part, but differences in sex drives cause problems in quite a few marriages. The bad part is those differences usually don't become pronounced for at least a few years after becomign sexually active.

I'm never going to get married again, so basically in that situation i am never going to have sex with her anyway, and yes, sex is important in a relationship.

Yes, it undoubtedly is. Even a relationship that is fine in every other way can fail due to problems there.

I had lots of premarital sex and have been 100% faithful to my wife of 6 years. Worked out fine for me. Honestly I think it doesn't matter that much whether you choose to wait or not. There are many, many aspects of marriage more important than sex. What matters is that you marry the right person, and treat him/her with love and respect.

I have nothing to say to that.

It's a nice thought, but it didn't happen with us. ;)

Although, we were together for ~6 months before we had actually had sex, that's a pretty long time.. so.. that must count for something.

Although, we probably would've done it earlier if we had a real opportunity.. lol

And then you will have to learn how to drive! lol

anyways blah blah
No it's more like testing the acceleration/torque of a car you already like...

If you love the car but the torque is mediocre, you can still live with it because everything else is enough to keep you satisfied... and you can still show it off.
Let's be honest here, in your example, you're shelling out a great deal of cash for your car; do you really want something that's only "mediocre", when you know that there's a car out there just like this one, but with better torque, all for the same price? You'll never be completely satisfied with something mediocre, when you know you could have gotten something a good deal better.

I'm not religious, and so see nothing wrong with it. While I respect the willpower of those who wait, I can't help but smirk about why they're doing it and, as has been stated, sex is a large part of a relationship and it would suck to find incompatibilities there a few years into marriage.
