To my secondary hard drive of course. Since I don't own a cd burner yet(getting one w/in the next couple weeks)I just put all my program setup files on my d drive. I like a totally fresh start anyway.

keep essential files on my laptop and desktop in sync so Im kinda running a DIY raid 1 array :)

also have a month old backup CD for emergencys (after format, network card drivers for laptop are 5MB :( )

"essential" files tally up at around a gig + games take up the rest

725MB for install files and unsorted

40MB for my documents

250MB for funny apps/ really old games and funny misc stuff *pics, texts, wallpaper etc.)

that, and office CD and a windows CD is ll I need for a fully functioning computer

We have a large fileserver in the basement. EVERYTHING runs on that thing. (even the profiles and MS Outlook PST files run from there) It's running full hardware RAID 10 and has a 40/80 autoloader. Of course I haven't put tapes in it because the disk arrays are quite fault tolerant. Looks like I really need to get some tapes and schedule full backups, eh? :)

Cheers!
