Being from Detroit I've always bought domestic, but now the wife wants a sport compact. There is really nothing out there domestic that equals the Celica/RSX/Eclipse/Tiburon in the domestic arena.

I could go Mustang/Camaro but then we are talking RWD and she'll want to drive a lot in the snow. If it gets real bad she can always take the Tahoe, but she perfers small cars('96 Escort now).

all 3 cars are jap.

my parents used to have a chevy, but after their exp. with it, they vowed never to buy chevy again.... they have a deep hatred of the company.

Domestic truck (only trucks powerful enough currently)

Current commuter car search is going to be a Honda again most likely since I'm firmiliar with them.

I've got a 2000 Pontiac GrandAm GT.. Not a bad looking car, and it's pretty quick (175hp) for what it is..

'95 Camry LE (made in the US)

ohh come on, everyone knows that just about every single piece, including the engine comes from Japan and other foreign countries, and only the final assembly is done in the US.

I drive a Ford Focus which, by your definition is a domestic.
Mine is British built though and in the 3 years it has been around has not had a single recall.

1 ford explorer
1 jaguar xj6

i've had more trouble with the explorer than i care to share, and english cars suck. What a mess that car is.

One of each

<< Chrysler isn't a domestic car company anymore >>

You are correct. But thay are still pieces of sh$t!

I drive a sensible '92 Honda Civic, made in the USA. (I didn't vote.)

A friend used to joke that he had an American car, and a foreign car, but which one was which? He had a Honda Civic and a Ford. His Civic was made in the USA and the Ford wasn't.

My Trek bike was also made in the USA. (I think Cannondales are too.)

I have a 95 Geo Prizm, same car as a Toyota Corolla. The battery, alternator, and radio are American. The rest of the car is japanese. Both the prizm and the corolla are manufactured at the same plant (in California, I believe). So...I guess it's a domestic by your definition. I guess your definition sucks. 😛

Domestic baby!
98 Chevy s10 Blaxer
92 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab <-----235k miles. nothing more than general maintainance repairs. Gotta love Chevy!
