POLL / YACT (sort of): What's up with Grand Prix drivers?

So, about two or three times a week I see a guy in a pontiac grand prix driving like a total jerk. Usually they will think way too highly of their brakes in particular, even tailgating cars that would be at a dead stop before the grand prix brakes even kicked in. There is also a high probability the same person would be driving 20 mph over the speed limit in a school zone, changing lanes way too aggressively, and seemingly trying to drag race at every stop light.

Is this just a phenomenon for me, or what? Is there something about the demographic of this car? Is it a white trash sport-like car? Anyone else notice this?

The only universal truth about Grand Prix/Am owners is that they can't turn their headlights on without those stupid big foglights being on too.

Hmm... interesting. It could be a wisconsin thing. The other thing we have here is old beat up compacts with tons of nader stickers and "Save the environment" type stickers on them even though they are probably emitting more bad stuff than half the city.

Which makes me wonder, what cars in your area have jerks or other "eccentricities"?

every day to and from work and even just driving around, i ALWAYS get behind Jeep Cherokee's that go 3 over the speed limit and camp in the left lane... it's not the same ones every day either, but I've noticed if i'm trapped behind someone going slow in the fast lane 9 times outta 10 it's a jeep cherokee
