POLL: Would you want to know your "expiration date" in advance?

AnyMal

Lifer
I voted "no", not something I'd want to have to think about everyday for the reset of my life, however long or short it may be.

yes, but then I would also be able to change things, and alter it, however, then the expire date would have to be the date after i made changes, however I would only make changes knowing the expire date. Would my expire date be constantly changing based upon the decisions as I make them? Or would they assume I made certain decisions, or had some sort of a set fate? or would the expire date really just be the expire date of one possible future out of an infinite amount of palallel universes? I hate Paradoxes.

I like Pizza.

How about some English MOTHERFVKER!😀

I would like to.

If there is some overhead force in charge of it all, I doubt you would be able to alter it: you could always have a heart attack or suffocate or whatever...he didn't say how, just when.

I want death to hit me like a freight train out of nowhere (quick single fatal blow), or in my sleep, either would suffice.

I'd prefer to have needles lowered slowly down through my eyes into my brain, and then bent and twirled till I died.

No I don't....but i'm not sure "I like suprises" is the right wording for me 😉

Yeah thats what i was thinking, I dont want to know because Id think Id spend the rest of my living life thinking about it. And i want to live for the present!

As I approach my declining years (I'm 54), I am increasingly aware that yes, there IS a day when it will all end. I've had an interesting life, and while I'd rather not pop off just yet, if I did, at least I've had some good times.

I KNOW that there will be a day when it all ends: that's the big issue. Knowing or not knowing which day - that's a little issue.

Well, of course I would! If I knew that I was going to die of a heart attack when I was 47, I sure as hell wouldn't bother contributing to my company retirement plan! I'd make sure to take a long vacation when I was 46, too!

Like that one episode of the Twilight Zone.

I voted yes, so I could more effectively manage retirement funds, and know how many of my golden years I can enjoy after I retire and plan accordingly. 🙂

69.51 years but who nows what medical advances will be made in the future. With continuing medical advances I think that the human lifespan will continue to grow until we don't die. I hope to make the cutoff.
