Your poll is absurd. Just because someone may oppose a ban does not mean they "do it everyday" or even at all.

Just because some people can't drive and talk at the same time doesn't mean my right should be taken away.
Now a ban on cell phones in movie theaters I'd support, but never for in my OWN car.
Maybe we should ban in car conversations or tending to the yelling kids in the back seat or changing the radio station while the car is in motion?
Maybe we should just by default take away all rights since someone some where can't handle them properly??

I'd support such a ban in a HEARTBEAT, as well as bans on old people driving. 99.9% of my near-collisions have been with either blind old people or people on cell phones.

Great come back!
Of course there isn't anything in the constitution that states anything about cell phones!
Just because you don't like others talking on their cell while driving does that automatically mean that NO ONE can talk and drive? Do you really think it's fair to cause everyone in the US to not be allowed to talk and drive just because some can't do it as well as others?

You're a big hypocrite.. you say your right to talk and drive at the same time shouldn't be taken away.. but you say you would support a ban on bringing a cell phone into a movie theater..

OWNED
Cell phones in movie theaters don't put lives in danger. Your all-import call on the freeway does. Either DRIVE or TALK. PICK ONE.
I ask again: where are these "rights" that you speak of defined???
