As someone mentioned earlier " The way people sleep around these days, what's the difference?" so you could easily apply that statement you made to the female populace in general.

Prostitutes, mostly one's in areas where it's legal and regulated are probably cleaner than any woman you'll ever be with....wait a minute, nevermind, they're clean though.

The ranch out in Arizona I believe it is has there girls tested on a regular basis and have not had any reported instances of STD's.

Hookers on the streets of Brooklyn, yeah, nasty stuff.

But I'm referring to a girl who got out of the profession, is checked out and clean of STD's and was looking to settle down with a husband.

This all assumes we (humanity) have identified all STDs that exist. I highly doubt that is the case. Since it probably isn't, you're risking picking up a STD that you won't know about until later, if ever.

Of course, you have that possibility with anyone but I suspect your risks are greater with hookers.

Also, condoms don't stop herpes many times.
