Good for them.Sorry but I find that sex gets better over time with somebody who actually gives a damn about me,.Besides,from what I've read that kind of lifestyle generally ends up destroying the marriage.

i don't see the harm in having responsible adults swapping partners on occassion. like i stated above, what changes about your girlfriend when she has sex with another man or woman? it's actually good to experience a multitude of different partners, of course in a safe manner. 🙂

Exactly....either the marriage or any other type of relationship.

Most men can "handle it" when it's just them but when they think of
their SO with someone else they get the same reaction that NFS4

I would think for most of the population it's something that just won't

Not necessarily. A mate of mine runs a swinging group and there are very strict guidelines for behaviour, incuding approaching people & intimate touching.

With he and his wife they have further guidelines, if he would like to shag someone, she has to meet and approve before any action (and vice versa). They have a yellow card and red card system when either partner feels that things are going too far.

I have seen this develope over the last 3 years or so and I have noticed that they become closer and closer. He has confided in me that he gets more (and better) sex from his wife that he did before they "swung".

Having said that, the lifestyle is not for everyone.

Totally not true. Sure it does happen but from what we have seen those marriages were long on their way to being split before the subject of swinging ever came up. The couples we know who are into the lifestyle are the most rock solid couples you could ever meet. if anything if both parties are in agreement to doing it, the experience makes the relationship much much stonger.

Actually I kind of am too, I usually think of people as pretty conservative on sex issues. I actually meant how opposed some individuals seem to be. Not liking it is fine, multiple angry posts seems a little bit overdone.

LOL! We do that in preschool and kindergarten. You need to stay on green, and if your card gets changed to yellow or red, you are in trouble!

I'm not going to judge people who swing, but I think that it is equally wrong to judge people who find the thought horrifying. Much of this behavior is brain based, and we may just be biologically different. I know my husband would NOT want to swing. Me having sex with someone else would not sit well with him. That doesn't make him 'wrong' or bad, just simply not a swinger.
