As long as I could eat whatever I wanted.
I would also be evil and surreptitiously sneak animal products into her food when possible... MWAHAHAHA!
She'd be all "Wow, why does this potato taste so good?" and I'd just tell her I found this awesome bacon substitute made from soy and crap.

Maybe just to date, but it would be difficult if you had to go to different restaurants and stuff all of the time.

Why because for me it simple won't work.
I'm not becoming a vegan. Most vegans aren't going to change either.

You'd think it wouldn't be in issue, but it ends up being one.

True dat. I've dated two and despite what they say in the beginning ("Oh I don't care, it doesn't bother me"), they eventually start nagging on you. "Oh, you're not going to eat that, are you?" Or, "Eeew that smells gross. Rotten animal carcass"

Not just no, but hell no. "Those people" aren't right in the head.

Quoted for Absolute Truth?

Mostly because the title that they give themselves. I mean, I know people who dont eat meat whatsoever, but would never consider themselves vegetarian, they just dont like meat.

These Vegans.. they are just not normal. When did it become wrong to eat meat?

Tough call. I would say that as long as she is accepting of my eating habits and desires...then I could care less...But knowing a few Vegans...they are generally very derogatory toward people who do not agree with them...so I'd say that it probably wouldnt' work in the long run. Granted that is a generalization from my experience...but that's all I have to go by.

Most seem to talk about being vegans alot as well as ask how many animals had to die for "what ever you are buying".

Vegans I knew didn't shave their body hair either.

If she didn't try to convert me and respected my opinions regarding my diet, I would hit it. Unfortunately that eliminates 98% of the vegans out there.

Had a date with a vegeterian. Made me realize....that I'd like to be with someone who doesn't mind eating meat.

Yes. I'm very susceptible to outside coersion. I'd be eating tofu within hours.

I doubt it - to much of a PITA. Traveled overseas with some vegetarian friends once, and every meal was an ordeal to find a place that had something they would eat.

I might. But I can't help but think it would annoy the heck out of me enough to end it anyway. Hit it - sure why not - she still likes protein right? KIDDING... Date... meh... Marriage - no way. I like to BBQ way too much. When I met my wife she would NOT eat meat. Now, she loves chicken & steak all because of little old me. She still refuses to eat chicken "with a bone in it" though.

I read the title and clicked "yes" instantly. I didn't even need to read the whole description :)

That's a stupid question. The question should be "would someone being a vegan be something that would stop you from dating them?" ;)

The things that I look for in a significant other do not include whether they only eat meat, or only eat veggies, or only eat nuts or whatever... although eating nuts is a plus. :p
