Poll: Would it be weird if I....

I was reading the newspaper this morning and in the Spotlight section of the newspaper(Rocky Mountain News, for you Coloradans) there was a feature on a girl that I had attended Language school with not too long ago. These features highlight a student's academic career and how he/she has contributed to her society. Suggestions for Student Highlights are usually sent in by family, teacher or boss. Anyhoo, I have not seen her in Lord knows how many years. I think 6 years to be exact.

I met her through her brother, who was just cool as hell. He introduced me to his sister and it made the next few weeks in language school go by a lot faster. We just had a ball hanging out at language school. I had asked for her number and willingly, she obliged. Sadly, the next week I was told that she had moved to Kansas. So I stopped going to language school because it wasn't the same without the two. She was way cool.

Anyways, I never did try to call them...but I'm assuming they've stayed in Colorado, so I was wondering if it would be weird to just call her and ask her to maybe just hang out one night. I dunno if she remembers me or not...it has been 6 years and I tend to remember names and faces better than most people.

Anyhoo...weird or not?

I think you should go ahead and try to call her. but then again i guess it depends on how long you had these classes for and how well you got to know her.

I personally would love to hear from guys that i knew from a while back 🙂

Yeah, ummm... I knew you Lily27. Remember, I met you that one night. You were looking so beautiful in that dress. How about we go out to dinner sometime?😉

J/K -- hehe!🙂

Don't call her.

That was probably a hint when she gave you her phone number but neglected to tell you she was moving the next day.

Scrapster does have a point, but I think you should go ahead and call her anyways. You never know you might've been on her mind the whole time.

I just mean that she might have stayed in Colorado and I was mis-informed when the people who I asked, said that she moved to Kansas.

Meh

He didn't say she moved away the next day... It probably wasn't on the top of her list to tell you she was moving. I mean after all you only were acquantinces through school. Give her a call, never know if somewhere deep down she thought of you the past 6 years.
