I think we need to start making people qualify before they can vote.
The poll is WORST beer.
WORST!

Yuengling Lager Light is very similar in taste to the regular Lager. Can you honestly say it's the "WORST" beer?
Corona? WORST?
Rolling Rock? WORST?

You've got to be joking me. Corona isn't exactly the Cadillac of beers, but on a hot summer night with a burger on the grill, it's close to heaven.

I define "Worst" as "WORST" as in, nothing is more awful. There are very few beers I simply do not drink, even when offered to me.

Those are:
Coors Light (Why is that not on the list?!)
Milwaukee's "Best"

They aren't "Beers I don't really like" which would include Bud, Miller, Natty, Keystone, etc.

The are the WORST!

I'll echo Jzero's definition of worst. It should be the absolute most disgusting thing that has been called beer to enter your mouth and grace a taste bud.

Coors Light added

You must add Guiness to that!

Guiness tastes like giraffe piss (and I know!).

40oz of King Cobra 4 LiFe!

Hey, it's Gravity Brewed! You know it must be good. Like I said, one of the only times I've ever puked off of 2 beers was off of 2 Steel Reserves...

I would bet that the majority of the people who voted have not had a Steel Reserve. I guarantee that if you gave 100 people a taste test between Steel and ANY beer on the poll, 98% would absolutely detest Steel and go for the other beer. Most would not be able to finish one can.

I got sick drinking a mixture of Rolling Rock and several other liquors and I can not even sip that stuff anymore. It tastes mildewy to me for some reason.

if you think yeungling light tastes like regular you are crazy it is not @ all

i hate natty, beast etc. but yeungling light is much worse than either of those

because as bad as they are i will still drink them if free

yeungling >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> yeungling light

yeungling is a pretty good beer for college
I in fact have it on tap in the kegerator
though i have only had light once it could have been a bad keg but it was really really bad i could not even finish 2 beers

when i can finish 1/2 case of any of the others easily if i wanted to

I think me might have our wires crossed. You must be talking about the Yuengling Premium Light that tastes similar to the already lousy Yuengling Premium.

I'm talking about the Yuengling Lager Light that tastes similar to the already wonderful Yuengling Lager.

You are quite correct about Premium Light. I guess I kinda figured they don't even sell the Premium line anymore b/c it seems so universally reviled, especially compared to the Lagers, but a quick check of their webiste confirms they still sell Premium.

It gets my vote since Schaeffer's isn't on the list

RR is the only beer that has made me sick enough to toss my cookies
Hehe...Shaeffer would get my vote as well. That stuff is freaking nasty.

Steel Reserve is like battery acid.

But for party drinking, Natural Ice is the worst crap ever.

Corona? WORST?

Corona and similar "non-taste" beers fit the list IMO.
Not because they're vile, but because they're trying to be beers but fail misserably.

I'd rather drink a Corona than some Lambic beer for example, I hate Lambic beers, but I give the Lambic's credit for at least having a very distinct taste, while Corona is more like water, heck I might as well drink water, it's cheaper and healthier, not to mention I won't have to move my ass out of my apartment to get it 🙂

Recheck my post. Worst is WORST. Corona isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but it's hardly the WORST, in part because it does have little taste, and as someone else pointed out, no taste is better than awful taste.

Corona is actually pretty characteristic of the garden variety Mexican beer. It actually isn't trying to be something it's not, it just caters to a regional taste. Try less "touristy" Mexican beers like Sol or Modelo, and you will find them to be only slightly better. Heck, even Negro Modelo has that sort of weak, sweet taste.

But still....the WORST beer? Think about it....there are some pretty lousy beers on this list. You really consider Corona to be worse than the rest of the lot?

Like I said in my post, I haven't tasted most of the beers on that list.
I tend to stay away from American beers since many of them suffer from the same lack of taste as Bud, with a few notable exceptions(Sam Adams Boston Ale, Red Seal, etc).
So, among those in that list, yes Buswasser is the worst, with Corona being only slightly better.

I guess the worst beer I've ever tastes would be a Swedish brew.
Ever smelled what a compost heap that's too wet smells like? I imagine if you actually "squeezed out" some of the "compost juice" it would taste fairly similar.

Most other beers I've tasted but not liked are still good beers IMO, they're just not for me, kinda like Jazz, I don't like it, but it's still good music.
