Poll: Worlds best 4-door is....

I was going to mention the 400HP BMW M5, but I was beaten to it. Therefore, how about an AM General Hummer for all of the snow and ice in the winter months.

Yeah, Renntech. How about the E7.4SLR? (I think thats right.) Its an E-class with a 7.4 liter V12. Don't know the other specs, but it was featured in Car&Driver a while back.

Mercedes cars were never meant to be sports cars (at least the current ones). They are luxury vehicles FIRST, performance second.

BMWs are performance/handling first and foremost. No matter how big an engine you put in a Mercedes, it is still going to play second fiddle to a BMW. Besides, you can get all BMW's (with the exception of the 7-series) with manual transmission. You can't say that for Mercedes cars. Like I said, Mercedes are luxury and comfort first, performance second 😉 All those Renntech's and AMG's are nice, but all come backed with an autoshifter b/c Merc can't make an decent manual to handle all the power and torque...pity 😛

lol at SuperTool, I agree.

I have to take the 7-series over the M5, sorry guys. Sure, it's great to tear around with 400hp, but I love the ride of "yachts" (which the 7-series most definitely is). Ride in any older Lincoln for a taste of this.

The new Lexus LS420 (?) looks pretty sweet, too.
