POLL: Will you upgrade to the new Office 2003?

I will buy it for sure, but not sure how soon I will install it on my main machine. I will run it on my test machine for some time first.

Of course, it will only cost me $5 to buy it.

Reading the new features, it has nothing worth paying more than $5 in my eyes. All I use is Word and Outlook regularly, Excel on occasion. I'll stick with XP.

Yup, only $45 here...I'll take the plunge, or just get it from the school library.

As long as the new office works with office 2k files (since they'll probably get the new one at school), then I won't upgrade.

The computer industry is still waiting for the killer mainstream app to make everyone upgrade to new computers. MS is hoping Longhorn will do it. Any improvements in Office for the next 5-10 years probably will have very little effect on home users. I think once voice recognition is in full swing (as we see in Sci-Fi movies) then an Office upgrade will be needed 🙂

Maybe, since it's "free" with MSDN Universal (= $2,500 / year) and I'll be building a new P4 rig to replace my p3-933 before the end of the year.

Oooh...that reminds me. I need to redo the Action Pack! 🙂

I will stick with OfficeXP. It is good and I don't see a need to move on. I don't also use probably more then 2% of what is in Word or 1% in Excel also! If that even!

Koing

Probably stick with Office 2K. Graduated from school a few years back, so can not get a student discount and no way in hell would I pay retail for it.

I will stay with XP unless my bookstore decides to be cool and actually have some good prices on software for a change.
