POLL: Will Duke Nukem Forever *ever* be released?

Maybe they're waiting for Bitboys to release the Glazed 3D as it'll be the only hardware uber powerful enough to run the game!@
 
I voted no, but I do hold out that a couple years down the road they may finally release a joke of the game merely to satisfy the bilked investors.
 
I see it with three posibilities.
60% chance non-release.
39% chance release and laugh at the fact that it's a lightly modded Duke3d, and then play it anyway because Duke3d owned
1% chance (Yes, I actually give it a full 1 in 100 chance) that it will be an earth-shattering release exhibiting technologies and techniques that we had only dreamed of.
 
They've spent way too much money to not get anything back. It'll come out, in a year or two or three or...
 
no i dont think it will...its been too long and whatever they have made so far is outdated anyway 🙂
 
Last I heard, they switched from the Quake 2 engine to the Unreal (the original) engine back in...1999?
 
Release? Maybe. But, most likely, it'll be a peice of crap. So I'd rather see it not released.

But honestly, who really really wants to play a new Duke Nukem game? I could care less.

Pfff *ME* for one - Duke 3d was an awseome game that brought much to the table in an already-crowded FPS genre. And the multiplayer made it classic, I'd love to see a sequel.
 
I doubt it will make it...I'm willing to bet its not even being worked right now. If anything they're shopping it around to development studios saying "someone finish this thing" and no one wants it.
 
This game will never come out and if it does it will resemble something like Daikatana. Too little, too late, over-hyped, and old before it's released.

The original game wasn't all that great anyway unless you were going thru puberty and never saw a pixelated stripper before.
