Poll: Why do CD spines have to be printed horizontal ?! :Q

Almost all my CD cases have horizontal print on the spines 😕:|
Just because we read horizontaly, it still makes no sense that
every CD spine is printed that way because you stack CD's in vertical
rows. Why don't they just print all CD spines vertically so it would
be easier to read? I thinkk it would be so much easier to read
our CD's and we wouldn't have to tillt our heads to read them.
You might think differently so I have created this
Poll in order to get the Anandtech community's
opinion on this matter.
Let me know what you think.
LOL 😀

I don't get the joke.

One alternative is to type text

LIKE THIS

but this has the problem of making text difficult to read when the CD is stacked vertically.

The other alternative is to type text

L
I
K
E

T
H
I
S

but I'm not sure that people can read text typeset in this manner quickly enough. It seems to me that it might be quicker to just crane your neck and read the horizontally typeset text.

Maybe they should just not print anything on them at all, so the consumer is left to guess what CD it is. Or maybe it doesn't f*cking matter. Or maybe it is just easier to read horizontally, and if you have to tilt your head you're a f*cking moron. Or maybe they should stack them vertically so that it is still printed horizontally but the morons don't have to tilt their heads.

Or maybe I'm tired and I need some sleep, but first I need a sandwich.

<< I was thinking vertical , but to each his own.. >>

You're a supernef...how do you have such a low post-per-day count? 🙂

The results are in... Horizontal it is..

If only people could give vertical a chance..
They might realize what they're missing ...
