I figured this argument needed a poll. I personally am not sure whom I think Anand and others were meeting. Although my guess would be Matrox based on the hints that have been tossed around.

but i'd also think matrox has a very good chance and a couple others that haven't been mentioned

there were some rumors going around of ex-3dfx employees forming up a new company and making some new chipsets... however when S3 pulled out of graphics after the Savage 2000, they promised they wouldn't be out for long and will release 'something cool' in 2002... now that's mystery for you.

I had voted for Matrox, but now I'm thinking it might be 3D Labs. I posted about some new info I read at Beyond3d.com in the other thread (see link at top). Since Anand has voted, and assuming he voted honestly, at least we know that one of the companies listed is the true answer. . .
