conan is pretty good. i think he has a quick wit. he can pop off something silly in a second.

i once saw letterman without paul. it was excrutiating. it made you realize how much paul means to that show, and i don't mean just musically. letterman was like a fish out of water. he even said it himself, it was horrible.

which show do you think gets the best babes? i think leno probably does.

btw, jon stewart is the worst interviewer i have ever seen. the guy is horrible.

That's pretty accurate, actually.
 
I voted Conan, although recently some of the show material (opening monologue, gags before/after 1st guest) is getting worse IMO. But I guess most of that stuff was written by other people. Conan's best stuff is either improvised or written by himself.
 
Letterman's too network now that he's on opposite Leno. He was more off-the-wall at NBC. Conan's filling those shoes quite well now.

I like Bill Maher. It's a totally different type of show, but I find I agree with most things he says. And he's anti-PC...
 
Conan, however Letterman is a close second. Leno is aboslutley intolerable.

In related news, Andy Richter's show looks hilarious.

"We'll call you big Andy now"
"Why not just call him black Andy?"
 
Conan's monologue is probably the worst- after having listened to him since the beginning I can almost lipsynch to his jokes, they're so easy to see coming. But his show is worth watching because the rest of it is awesome. His original pieces are stupid and edgy, but hilarious. And his self-depracating humor is awesome in interviews.

And for the poorly-funded part, that's part of the reason why his show's so funny. Where would characters like the poop dog and uh, self-pleasuring bear come from if they didn't pull them out of some bad prop closet?
 
interesting.. i see all these letterman and leno lovers, yet o'brein beats them both by double the votes..

btw, letterman, obrein, a monkey sitting there doing nothing, then leno... letterman is, by far, the best late night t.v. show host ever

edit: i never really had a chance to watch carson, since he's before my time.. so i guess ever was kinda pushing it.. but from what i've seen of carson, letterman is still better..
