Kid Rock. Eminem can hardly sing, and he can't play an instrument. If Kid Rock's label wasn't screwing him to push out half @$$ albums he'd put out some really great stuff

eminem. and his accomplishments prove it. had the best selling album last year. has a won a grammy. has won an academy award. and all of his albums have gone platinum and above. and has had a number #1 movie.

Actually Eminem creates some of the tracks that he raps on, the 8 mile theme comes to mind. Other than that, he's produced for other artists like 50 cent, Nas as well...

That said, Props go to live music performers over lyricists anyday. It's one thing to create and memorize 16 bars, its another thing to create memorize and play them flawlessly over and over.
