Who's more talentless, pretentious and arrogant, Oasis or Smashing Pumpkins?

Oasis: We're better than the Beatles
Smashing Pumpkins: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness double album

I've heard of both of them being described as pretentious and arrogant, but I couldn't say which is worse. I enjoy some of the music from both bands though I wouldn't call myself a fan of either.

I voted Oasis, mainly because the Gallagher brothers are both idiotic turds with absolutely no vocal talent.

SP has their good songs and bad songs. I'd say they're more strange than pretentious.

Well, the Beatles are more popular than Jesus and since Oasis is nowhere near as popular as Jesus then it's got to be Oasis. And Smashing Pumpkins > Oasis any day of the week.

Words cannot describe how much I hate Smashing Pumpkins. Awful, awful music. I wouldn't put Oasis on myself, but I can listen to it.
