POLL:Who will you side with in the next Star Wars MMO?

I'm thinking Sith, but one of those honorable types who actually thinks he's doing the right thing. Lucas might like making things black and white, all good or all evil, but life's more complex.

I've never done MMO, had little interest, but if reviews are decent I'll likely give this a shot at least.

That's one thing I liked about KOTOR II, Obsidian made the dark path more about obtaining power to do things your way than pulling the wings off flies and pointless "eeeevilll" bullying and insults.

Like the main character in Death Note, murdering people but almost always ones that deserved it.

One of the fun things about SWG shortly after launch as an overt Imperial was patrolling the streets of the major cities in a group and assuring the neutral faction members that they were being protected from the rebel scum attempting to terrorize them, kinda like Troops.

If I bother, the Empire. I remember stories about entire servers gang raping Jedis just for the challenge with Galaxies or whatever the last one was called. That can't not be fun.

In most MMO's I've been a part of, the more mature player base is the perceived 'evil' side. So I'll probably go Sith. There are a number of Dragonwolves that want to go Sith, but also a number that want to go Jedi. Some of the back-and-forth postings are hillarious to read.

Sentrosi: And, for those wondering, I will probably be fighting on the side of the Sith.
Daleon: Sith is likely going to be choice also.
Warwolf: I find myself liking the lightside more personally.
Asp: Excellllent... Smithers, release the Banthas!
Sentrosi: Daleon, it is useless to use your voice to convince those who follow the light. Let your saber be your tongue, and your slashes be your voice.
Manitou: It only takes one small flickering candle to dispel the deepest darkness.
Asp: "Your feeble [candle analogies] are no match for the power of the Dark Side. You will pay the price for your lack of vision. "
Warwolf: You can have sight and still not see all around you
Asp: Confucious say: A dead cat with no wings cannot fly..
See this is why that jedi got smoked at the end of that trailer.. He spent too much time in philosophical poetry class instead of lightsaber training..

"If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did Obi-Wan's apprentice.? So I doubt you could be a Jedi and use Dark Side powers. Because eventually it will corrupt you. Not saying that you could shake off the Dark Side and go back to being a Jedi, but the temptation of using the Dark Side would be there. Like that final slice of Chocolate Cake.

You can play a Republic supporting Jedi and go dark, Bioware has made it clear that your faction choice does not determine your moral end of the spectrum, you do. You can be a light side Sith also.
