1. Kerry is continuing to gain ground in national and battleground-state polls
2. Few polls take into account Badnarik, etc., who will take votes from Bush
3. Kerry is increasingly on the offensive, Bush more and more defensive
4. Undecided voters will split 2:1 for Kerry
5. Only-cell-phone users, about 5% of the pop, cannot be polled, and are expected to split in favor of Kerry

These are the facts why John Kerry is going to win the presidential election.

He is NOT gaining in any polls! There hasnt been a national poll released with Kerry leading for 2 weeks!

I have seen severalthat show kerry with narrow leads. If kerry is even if the margin of error, it basicly means he wins. Large majorities of undecideds have consistantly gone against the incumbant. With undecideds making up even only 5%, kerry would most likely win. I predict about a 90 electoral vote spread with kerry the victor. Ohio, pennsylvania, and florida will all go to kerry.

when Kerry is neck and neck with Bush in New Jersey, you know he has a huge problem. Lets not even get into Pennsylvania or Minnesota.

BTW, Gore won all three of these states and Bush could easily win PA and Minnesota ... NJ will prolly go with Kerry in the end.

Kerry has Ohio and New Hampshire wrapped-up, and is looking decent in Florida. Bush is at 44% approval.

It would be hard for him to lose, considering all the effort that will be spent on GOTV this year.

You don't have to be a liberal to dislike the Dub. Many of us who believed him regarding Iraq despise him now for misleading us into supporting his ill advised excellent adventure into Iraq!

You might want to check your facts and restate your opinion.

Kerry solidifies his lead in Jersey

Edge rises to 10 points over President Bush
Tuesday, October 19, 2004
BY ROBERT GEBELOFF
Star-Ledger Staff

Two weeks before Election Day, the odds that President Bush will pull an upset and grab New Jersey's 15 electoral votes are growing slimmer, a Star-Ledger/Eagleton-Rutgers poll shows.

Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry leads Bush by 10 points, 48 percent to 38 percent, among registered voters and by 13 percentage points, 51-38, among likely voters, according to the survey of 805 registered voters conducted by telephone Oct. 14 to 17.

Kerry's lead had been as small as 4 percentage points in early September, just after the Republican National Convention in Manhattan. That gap was close to the poll's 3.8 percent margin of error, and prompted the GOP to declare the state "in play," even though it has gone Democratic in the last three presidential elections.

Subsequent polls have increasingly favored Kerry, said Patrick Murray, the poll's acting director, and the new results give the Democrat his widest margin in New Jersey since August.

I am conservative and I really have a laudry list of things I do not like but on the other hand John Kerry is just not likable and is trying to Clinton people (telling them what they want to hear while crossing his fingers.) John Kerry is no Bill Clinton. :D

I still might vote for a more conservative candidate than either since I do not agree /w Bush on so many topics

By 'Clinton people' do you mean straighten out the damage done by a previous Republican administration? If you do, then I agree with you. Kerry wants to reduce the national debt, reduce the deficit, provide good paying jobs -- all the things Clinton did for people.
