By the way, Bibby is the reason the Kings are so much better than last year. (White) Jason Williams is arguably the worst point gaurd in the league.

of course, all former UofA wildcats improve their respective NBA teams...
🙂

man i miss college basketball...far more exciting than NBA...i guess this kings team is a decent consolation...hopin for a nice kings in 7 series...

Only cuz the tourney is single elimination--none of this 7 games spread over 2 weeks BS :disgust:

Not all...unless you've got an argument for journeyman Jud Buechler. (j/k)

no one cares about stupid basketball. Basketball is the stupidest sport ever IMO.

Dont crap the thread if you dont like the sport, in fact dont even click on it.

I'm sure XZeroII will bow at your feet because of that one. If you had an important opinion, then you would've said it, instead of threading more crap.

On topic: I think that the Lakers will win, and it will definately be done in 6 games.

Current Vegas line for the series

Lakers -220
Kings +180

Nets -150
Celtics +130

NBA Champion

Lakers 1-5
Kings 2-1
Nets 10-1
Celtics 12-1

somebody put an "IDIOT" stamp on this guy's forehead.
Why? The Kings are as good a team as the Lakers have to face in the playoffs since they've been winning the Championships. Unlike the Sixers ,the Kings are more than a one dimensional team. The way they dispathed the high flying Mavs was truly impressive. I'm not so sure the Lakers would have faired as well. I'm certain they would have won but it would have been tougher.

That said, the Lakers have to be the favorites based soley on the play of Shag and the obvcious problem the Kings will face not being able to match up anybody against him that would even be remotely effective.

i'm referring to the fact that he calls Kobe a ball hog. when you're a great player, you become the "go to" guy. i'm sick of people thinking everyone should share baskets on the court. if you're gonna win, your main guy(s) WILL take most of the shots. and besides, kobe has been playing unselfishly (when he can) all season long.

I don't know why everyone hates the Lakers.
Its not the Lakers that they hate but Lakers fans.
Exactly, Laker fans are as cocky as the Lakers are themselves. Whoever it is who wins this series, I hope neither of them win the finals. Since there are two CA teams near the finals, fanboy Laker fans have started arguing another annoying argument, "even if the Kings win, it will still be a CA team. For this reason, I am all for the Celtics, a team from the other side of the country.

no respectable Laker fan would stoop to endorsing the Kings, just as no Yankees fan would endorse the Mets, and the Celtics winning the 2002 NBA championship would rate right up there with getting a snow cone in hell.

game tonight in less than 30 minutes. so what are the predictions?

1) lakers win by a whooping
2) lakers win by a close game
3) see 1 or 2
