Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt speed directly proportional to size? Bigger capacity means data is packed tighter, so more travels under the heads at a time...

Although the 4 platter raid is a pretty sweet idea. I'd buy that.

I don't know if it's directly proportional...but it might be a factor. However, look at the access times of a UW160 drive (3.9-4.9ms) compared to an IDE (8-9ms).

Some .13u, but slower processors would be nice actually. I dont want/need an Athlon 2400+ or whatever for my firewall. I want cool and quiet. Same for an IDS sensor in my house. Underclocking would require me to do some extra work or drop the memory speed down, neither of which I want to do (plus the added expense of buying a top of the line processor). But I doubt they would sell enough, which also applies to the smaller hard drives...
