PayPal looks interesting to me, but is it really secure and free? I don't know much about it but the stuff they wrote on their site.

The only reason, why I am looking into this is, because I wanna order something where PayPal is required...

Can I ship to a different address, then mine?

here is what I wanna do:

I have a german CC, and wanna ship to america, but pay with my CC. Is that possible, anybody knowing that? And how do I do that?

paypal sucks. they have been "holding" ppls cash lately. I got out early, when they charged a CC i had REMOVED from their system. I had added it again, and removed it again in trial, and they claim it was in their system the entire time. I said, screw it, i can't risk that again, bye bye. Granted, it was only a small amount, but i just felt like they weren't secure enough.

Your only choices are "It works great" and "PayPal is suck"?

Very ironic, considering your sig:
Well... there is no "good" or "bad" take some time and think about it...

I voted "great," BTW.

I've been using PayPal for nearly a year now and have had only one minor problem when I was attaching a bank account to the PayPal account - it took 3 issuances of the < $1.00 amount for PayPal and my bank to get it figured out. Aside from that, no problems whatsoever; I have chosen to upgrade to the Premier Account so they take a small percentage(2%) of what comes in to me, but I'm not overly concerned about it - cost of doing business for the convenience it provides.

It's been a very positive experience for me - I will admit though that I generally do not carry a balance any greater than $500.00 in my PayPal account though for both personal and security reasons.

Great, so it doesn't cost me any money, but how about shipping to a different place than where I live?

The store doesn't ask me for the shipping address? what to do??? Maybe it does ask me the second step... I will try...

maybe I should write take some more time stultus...

Still true... hint... how about every individual defines ... and there in general ...

But great, you were the first asking... in this forum... I am happy...;) somebody is actually reading... Being serious!!!

paypal has been very useful, if you have problems with adding 2% to all payments, just make the other person pay 2% more. Been doing that in all my transactions online that fall under that category and its worked out just fine.

Paypal works great for me. I haven't had any problems with them except not being able to log on their site every once in a while.

Heh they had my money since January. I can't get it out. If you are outside of US forget it. I tried. You will have to give them your bank account no. due to new policy they put in recently.

Follow the terms exactly and don't let yourself get into any gray areas, especially concerning verified shipping addresses, and you will be fine. If you do not follow their guidelines, then there is no fraud protection.
I've used them since the beginning and I don't know how many thousands of dollars...actually, I do know, but would rather not say here. ;)

I've never had a problem with my money.
