Register your domain through http://www.namecheap.com which includes FREE e-mail forwarding, your e-mail address will never change again.

is that really hosting it? Still has to be downloaded and such from the place you are redirecting it from. Can't email forward to the same dns.

If you only go through Namecheap.com no it's not hosting it but redirecting (through your ISP for instance).

The best idea is to:
$8.88 namecheap.com register your domain
$9.99 ripplehost.com web hosting includes email/webmail

I use hotmail because I've had to change e-mails so many times.

AOL -> AT&T -> Earthlink -> Cox -> School provider -> Cox

Shortly, I plan to switch it all over to Cox since I don't think I'll change for a long time.
