School for me, though I graduate in the spring. I'm asking because I'm curious and also because I'm thinking of registering my name as a domain name so I can get e-mail through that for life.

I use a service that forwards my mail to my Yahoo account and my ISP account. That way I can access my mail at anytime (via Yahoo), and I can also store it locally on my computer (ISP).

I created this company www.crownlink.com because I hated the email services out there.

You can check your own POP3 email in it as well as have a permanent Crownlink address. Along with online Hard drive. Well have a look.

Anyone interested will get special Anandtech forum member discount ;)

I do not work for them I own it.

hotmail is the one I use the most just because I'll probably have it until M$ goes under...

Otherwise it's either my work or my own domain.

Haven't used an ISP-provided email address in YEARS!

With domains and hosting so cheap, esp. nowadays, makes much more sense to have your own. :)
