POLL: who needs their computer files cleaned up?

Sure bigger hard drives are nice, but I lose track of where something is and right now I have a MAJOR reorganization to do and I'm hoping to replace Win Me with Win XP.

Mine is a total mess, I have so much sh!t on there that I don't even know what it is or where it is. Oh well if I ever need to really clean it out I will back up all my important files and then reformat the drive or something along theose lines.

Mine's pretty organized: OS and game installs on the 30 gig, mp3s on the 100 gig, and pr0n on the 160 gig...

My HD is a mess as well. I've been trying to organize a lot of stuff so I can back it all up and reinstall windows.

i usually try to organize my drives but once in a while when the download and install bug bites me, it'll get a little messy. just cleaned up my drive yesterday 🙂

Mine is in Perfect order 🙂 I have everthing organized, and I am in the process of making all of my MP3's ID tags nice and neat 🙂

My 8 gig has served me well over the last 2~3 years, I keep my stuff organized...

But it's dying, so it's time for a new HD😀

mine's organized (I think).

everything is separated in directories...

and I have one temp folder that holds all of my un-sorted stuff.

but recently, my temp folder has been growing and growing and growing... it's upto 30GB of programs/mp3s/backups/etc (no porn). guess I'll sort it as soon as I get off this forum... 😉

I keep this one well organized. I have a small partition in which I put all downloads and temporary stuff. Everything that goes in there will then either be sorted and filed in one of the other partitions or deleted. It also makes viral scans easier.

mine is very organized. i can freshly reinstall an OS and have everything back to the way it was before the reinstall.

basically OS and programs on the 10GB partition, My Documents on the 20GB partition, and MP3 on the 30GB partition. to make sure i dont forget programs to install, i keep a list of what order to install the programs along with every EXE file i need to install so i wouldnt need to redownload the programs i use.

Programs in /usr, personal stuff in /home. *NIX forces you to stay organized, unlike that sloppy Windows 😀
