This machine I'm typing on has an Intel P4/3.06; also in this room are the "new" video machine with dual Intel 2.66 Xeons, the "old" video machine with dual AMD Athlon 1600MPs, another Intel P4/3.0 machine that I'm mostly using to run a couple of DVD burners at the moment, an Intel Celeron/2.8 SFF portable video server, and a bunch of laptops (almost all Intel CPUs).

Downstairs it's closer to an even mix between Intel dual-CPU systems and Sun dual and quad CPU systems, with a couple of Ross CPUs thrown into the mix (including one system with four Ross CPUs).

I run an AMD XP 1800+ that I won at one of those early morning giveaways that they did like 3 years ago.

AMD all the way. I only build AMD machines for customers and buy them for myself. The only Intel chips I have laying around are from old machines I got free from work.

All my personal rigs are AMD. I'm the odd man out at work, all Intel proc's here, including a new dell server with dual Intels.

I made my own using a rock and some aluminum foil. Great do it yourself project.
:p

j/k (of course) - Athlon right now... next computer will be whichever is the most bang for the buck the day I order my chip/MB
