(ESPN had this poll, and I thought it was an excellent one.)

Ok, we all know that Jerry Rice is the best. And if you disagree, then you don't belong in this thread. 😉

But who is second best?

John Taylor😉

If you don't change the poll I'll say Mike Irvin because he was big, fast, strong and never dropped a ball.

I would say Cris Carter. He is definitely one of the most productive recievers and he seemed to ALWAYS find a way to keep his feet inbounds.

Of all time I'd say Cris Carter, it's Cris Carter btw. Harrison is on his way with 0 injuries bad enough to take him out of play.

Ummm.... no. Not adding John Taylor. The only reason he was as good as he was is because of that one guy who generally lined up with him took the majority of the defense's attention. 😉

Doh! Spelling error fixed. 😱

I voted Irvin, but it is really close between irving and carter. for their careers, carter had the better career statistically (of course irvin has the super bowls) so one might call that a wash, but if i could have either one of them playing in their prime for me, i'd take irvin over carter. i thought irvin was more explosive.

I can't belive MR. Drop Da Pass Carter is leading😕

Her is a link for every stat from every WR ever

Name....Games....... REC........ YDS ........Y/R.......TD
Irvin .... 159........... 750 ........... 11904....15.9.....65
Carter ... 229......... 1093.......... 13833.....12.7....129

You tell me who has the better numbers and Carter played in the weakest NFC conference while Irvin played in the toughest in the NFL NFC east at the time.

Harrison is a great deep threat, but he's a stick. He doesn't go over the middle, he just goes down. I admire receivers like Rice cause they did everything.

Timmy Brown he has been the most consistent receiver next to Rice. He has been on some bad Raider Teams also and still put up 1000 yard seasons.

How about TO from 49ers ?😛

I love him when he acts especially after he put his signature on the ball on Monday Night Football 🙂
He's Bad@ss 😛

TO is badasz. his body and play is almost identical to Mike Irvin and talks about the same smack. I like him, but I think he needs a couple more years before making the list. His line and QB arnt that good either which kinda hurts.
