I'm still using my Abit-Bx6R2, I really want to upgrade...but too many things to consider! Currently running a Celeron 600@933.
Just wondering who is still using theirs?

My parents are still beating the crap out of theirs (and it's still alive after 2.5 years :D).

My BX board is just a bit over a year and a half old. The Asus CUBX was one of the last new BX designs to come around. Mine runs great with a FSB overclocked to 133Mhz running a Coppermine PIII 700 at 933Mhz. I have no immediate plans to change this system. It is very stable and plenty fast.

My Abit BX6 with a P2-400 is still running strong, 3.5 years old! Of course my main system is now my XP 1800, A7V266E.

The only thing in the house with Intel processor stuff in it is what I'm typing on now - my Dell laptop. PentiumII 400 and a mobile 440BX chipset.

The rest of my computers are AMDs, and so's my dad's. My sister is using a :QCyrix:Q with a :QTXPro Chipset.:Q

ASUS P2B-S still in my primary system, Celly 633 @ 950. I really could use much more power but can't afford to upgrade at the moment.
My Dad's the prowd owner of a new XP 1700+ system, and likes rubbing it in!

I've got my BX 6 rev 2.0 still. I started out with Celery 366 @ 500 then after a bios flash P3 700 @933 (p3 700- Max allowed with that board). But since I've gone AMD cuz it's just as good or better and alot cheaper. But last month I blew off the dust off the old rev 2.0 mb and have it running as a server system without overclocking it and 3 years later it still runs like a champ!!

I'm still running a Supermicro P6SBA bx motherboard with a Pentium II 400 mhz processor. It is about 3 1/2 years old.

It has been an exceptionally good system. I'm beginning to think about a new system and maybe turn this one into a linux box.

I appreciate all the good information you people provide.

got a P3b-f and Aopen ax6bc still running strong; not state-of-the-art, but good boards. 2 years+ on both with nary a problem.

My Server is a Tyan Tiger 100 w/ 2 PIII 1Ghz's in it. It is running Win2k Small Business Server. It does all my proxying, Mail, Web Serving, plus all the other stuff you do with a Win2k Server and is a CS Server. CPU Load averages 5%. Soon it will be a MOH:AA server too. I plan on keeping it another 2-3 years.

Yeah, The BX is still Kickin!

One of my servers is an Asus P2B with Cel400 and a 60 GB Maxtor. Rock-solid and kudos to Asus for supporting this board with many BIOS upgrades for faster CPU's and large drives.

You cannot beat the Asus CUBX-E, BX with ATA-100. It runs a Celeron 633 at 950MHz and rock stable.

Hi all,
I am still using my 3-4 year old intel SE440BX mother board with a PII-400. I run it with 128mb RAM and a Diamond Viper v770 Ultra card 32mb RAM. This system has done all that I threw at it...I guess, I did not throw much at it anyway...But now its time to get the together with newer times....

All my computers are BX

BH6 Celeron 300A @ 450
BH6 Celeron 566 @ 850
BXR Rev2 Celeron 800 @ 1.1
Tyan Tiger 100 P3 900 @ 1.0

Take advantage of the 1/4 PCI divider on your BXR and overclock a 100FSB chip to 133 or higher. It really opens the bandwidth on the RAM. You will notice a big difference. You will need PC133 RAM and a video card that can take an overclocked AGP bus. The BXR doesn't have a 1/2 divider on the AGP bus. The 800 celeron is an inexpensive 100 FSB chip and overclocks well. This upgrade worked great for me. Good luck.

Sort of, I gave my BX board (Supermicro P6SBA) and Pentium III 850 to my father in law last year. I still use the machine fairly often - its a great machine, I wish I never gave it away.
