If you are late then you don't plan well. You are also selfish and have no consideration for others who are affected by your tardiness. This only applies to the chronic or habitual late person, everyone is late occasionally due to unavoidable circumstances.

Dude on my English class shows up exactly 5 minutes late every day, panting, skateboard in hand. Come on now. Adjust your schedule so you leave your house 5 minutes earlier everyday instead of interupting class every day.

I hate people that show up to class late. If I'm gunna be more than 10 minutes late I don't go. I think it's just plain rude to wander in 10 minutes late and disturb everyone. I guess I'm just weird and anal.

I'm trying to fix my lateness but it has been to no avail until recently. I got a Palm Vx and its little annoying beep goes off 15 minutes before I have to get anywhere. I think I'm running at 50% now. Give me another month before I'm at 75% promptness.

Just a reminder, there is no such thing as 'right on time'. Your either late or early. Right now it's late enough to start drinking.
