Never had a problem with IE, have problems with Firefox, I'll continue using IE. I don't care about "standards", I care about what runs websites I use.

p.s. no firefox will certainly not be "king" among the general public, not for a very long time if ever.

Switching to Firefox from opera tommorow, will look forward to having adblock and cookie culler back. Proximitron sitting in your tray gets old after a while.

I used FF for a few months and tried to get extensions to get it more like opera, but ended up going back to opera.

Does anyone else see really funky colors when text is highlighted? The beta did it and the final does it too.

Ok the issues I was having appeared to be profile/settings related. All is well again.

The java VME loads INSTANTLY now. 🙂

Does anyone use an extension called fasterfox by chance? It's supposed to speed up FF but some sites complain about the load and will even block you from accessing their site if you have the prefetcher running.

I use FF primarily because when I have trouble reading small print, I hit CTRL + + (plus sign) or CTRL + mouse wheel down and it increases for me. The same feature in Opera results in some sort of zoom that makes most sites very ugly and blocky

BTW, me = bad eyesight, probably not an issue for most

I'll consider upping to 1.5, using 1.07 now. There is no question that Opera is faster page loading, but FF has other nice features like the above

works fine for me, all my extensions (IE view, Ad-block plus and download statusbar)and skin had working versions for 1.5

Weird, I can't get it to work on my home or work computers. It was working fine before, and then after the upgrade I just don't see flash stuff if I go to a page with it.

Where's my poll response for OTHER. There are lots of other browsers that have been around YEARS before FF ever showed up, no reason to think it's the best out there.
