Poll: Which would you rather use to organize your MP3 collection: iTunes or Windows Explorer?

I use the FLAC format, and organize the files with Windows Explorer. But they are all legal rips from my CD collection so I just created the artist and CD folders as I ripped each CD.

How do "smart" playlists differ from the normal playlists that almost all players offer?

I use windows explorer to organize my collection, as I like simple, direct control over what's on my hard drive and where on the drive it is. I don't generally create playlists, but Winamp does a good job of it when needed.

iTunes basically creates "smart" playlists for you based on criteria that you set. For example, if you wanted all of your Hip-Hop music that you have rated greater than 3-stars on a playlist, it would create it for you and dynamically update it. It can also sort the list by play count which I find very useful.

Windows explorer. I usually know exactly what I want, so I have no need for anything other than simplicity.

Why is it that you have such a hard-on for Apple crap? And feel you need to justify it to everybody?

Seriously? I couldn't stand MusicMatch... The only thing I ever used it for was for ripping MP3s, cuz WinAmp didn't have that option without $$$....

Sorry SickBeast...

He asked me a question and I answered it. I don't need to justify myself to the likes of you. Did you have anything to add to this thread or are you just here to harass me?
