*Poll* Which will have a better game library - XBox2 or PS2

XBox2 all the way - with Rare coming along, Bungie getting off their ass and making more games, and talks of buying Sega and Vivendi in the works, I'm looking forward to seeing XBox2's HUGE game library and the Playstation fanboys cry like babies - muahahahahahahh

hah j/k, but seriously, as Microsoft is prepared to spend a lot on the Xbox, and also its brutal realization that it's not a powerful console that makes the console, but rather good games, I think that by XBox2 (and late stages of XBox1) we'll be seeing a lot of good games.

PS3 IMO without a doubt.

Besides the Final Fantasy series and GTA (which itself is enough to make a console), I don't think PS3 can compete well.

XBox has Rare's catalogue coming out, and by XBox2, I can bet that Killer Instinct 3 or 4 would be out. Along with Conker's, Perfect Dark, and Sega's various titles, with Halo 3 and hopefully if Tecmo signs on with MS again...

I agree with you newSC2 it's just Sony has always had a good game library with whatever system they have out at the time.. it's why people liked PS1 and PS2 so much. I am guessing if they follow suit they'll have a killer library!!

aside from halo, i haven't seen anything overly impressive on the xbox. ps2 on the other hand, has a long list of great titles, and if history is any indication, the ps3 will continue this tradition.

We can't make any predictions until 1) final hardware specs are released, 2) dev kits are issued to developers, and 3) devs are announced. Since no systems or games have been officially announced yet it's impossible to say.

Just by which game developers they have under their belts (i.e. Microsoft owns/owns the rights to Bungie and Rare) you can start to see patterns

Both should have great library's. PS3 will have the same library power the ps2 has but XBOX Next will have an even better library then the current xbox as the developers that were leary before will jump in full throttle next time.
