buy.com seems to have the best selection of sennheiser's and free shipping (over $25 and under 20 lbs promo).
sennheiser's at buy.com

i'm limited to under $50 and I already have the 497's.
oh yeah, uses will be for gaming, music and dvd's, all on the computer.

I'd try spending a bit more and get the 497's. I don't really trust the other ones all that much.

From the ones on the list... I guess the HD-212 Pros.... But I'd get the 497's...

whoops, sorry, the 212's are over the $50 limit
just removed it from the poll.

i guess what i'm trying to go for is the best bang for the buck, since I already have good ones in the HD497's... meaning i can pick up the 202's for $25 or 477's for $50. will i notice the difference other than the extra $25 in my pocket?

If you have the HD497s why would you want one of these? the 497s are better.

I wouldn't buy any Sennheiser, I had a set, and I didn't like them.. exchanged for a set of SONY's and much happier.

What kind of Sony's? Sony's headphones can be very hit and miss.

Oh. Uh... I dunno if I trust any of those. Maybe the PX200s mentioned in the next post... If you don't want full-sized headphones, I'd get the Koss KSC-35... best deal in audio.

Or the KSC-50, same driver, slightly different. Sounds a little worse than the 35s, but they're the best headphones for under $15 and for portable use. Wide open though. If you're looking for some more isolation, I'd say look at a pair of closed phones. I can't recall which one of the ones you listed is closed though. I'm pretty sure theirs one in there.

EDIT: the 202s are closed.
