As a Christian I'd want to say Atheism, but really, I think Islam would be a better choice. While Atheist extremists are highly against Christians, at least they don't blow up buildings and people like Islam extremists do. REAL Christians do not cause harm either, the news you see that mentions Christians is talking about people who call themselves Christians, but they arn't. Heck, lot of Islam extremists call themselves Christian.

a lot of jews pretend to be muslims to promote the islam hate. see adam gadahn, grandson of prominent jewish figure, who was Al Amriki for awhile until he was exposed. he fell off the map now. youssef al-khattab? another jew exposed trying to be a muslim terrorist. what about those mossad agents that were busted pretending to be al qaeda? hmm....lucky they all look alike over there and can get away with fooling most Americans. the 5 dancing israelis on 9/11 dressed as arabs? not arabs lol. what ever happened to that story

Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Muslims,
And everybody hates the Jews.

- Tom Lehrer

And while we're at it:

They're rioting in Africa, they're starving in Spain.
There's hurricanes in Florida, and Texas needs rain.
The whole world is festering with unhappy souls.
The French hate the Germans, the Germans hate the Poles.
Italians hate Yugoslavs, South Africans hate the Dutch.
And I don't like anybody very much!

But we can be tranquil, and thankful, and proud,
For mans' been endowed with a mushroom-shaped cloud.
And we know for certain that some lovely day
Someone will set the spark off, and we will all be blown away.

They're rioting in Africa, there's strife in Iran.
What nature doesn't do to us, will be done by our fellow man.

- The Kingston Trio

"Atheism" isn't a religion, so it doesn't belong. The other three on the other hand are all plagues on the world nearly equally bad. Humanity won't be free until the world is cleansed of these Abrahamic blood cults.

Denial aint a river in Africa.

Oh Gods, you're right. Your cynical sarcasm has revealed to me that I do, in fact, have a Gods-shaped hole in my heart. I am happy to report that I now have a Jesus-YHWH-Holy Spirit threesome going on in my chest 24/7. I now realize that every moment of "fun" I'd had previously was akin to mere masturbation; I now know true bliss.

Of these religions, which one would the world be better off without? I'd have to say Catholicism.

I can't think of any other religion that is so backwards that it would not allow scientific achievements as Stem Cell research; or allow basic freedoms to choose what one does to their own body.

Also, they'd rather teach their own children that the world was just invented 5000 years ago, and ignore the proof of evolution.

Also, they usually vote Red. That annoys me.

What does ATOT think?

If you're trying to rip on a religion at least get your facts straight. LOL. That's in Trolling 101.

The more you know...

A life without hope and faith is a pretty miserable existence.

I hope that my time on this earth will be constructive, and I hope that in this journey I may help as many people as possible in meaningful ways, and I hope that I have the health and means to do so.

I have full faith and confidence that I will be able to accomplish some of these goals.

I'm happy to say that my life has been very rewarding.

So, what bullshit hope and faith are you brainwashed into?

what has killed more people in the past 20 years, muslim suicide bombers or the vantican's stance on condoms?

it's not even close.

I'm an atheist, raised Muslim. Considered myself a moderate until my late teens (I think) before I realized I was kidding myself and started reading more about religion and outspoken atheists (Dawkins/Hitchens mostly). I voted for Islam in the poll. But you can't overlook stuff like this: Pope Blesses Champion of Uganda's 'Kill the Gays Bill'

And amdhunter, as others have pointed out, atheism is not a religion.

I take it you've never read a single article about Islam then, eh?

Just yesterday, a mob burned a man alive over allegedly desecrating the Koran.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/22/us-pakistan-blasphemy-idUSBRE8BL03R20121222

The man was a traveler and had spent Thursday night at the mosque, said Maulvi Memon, the imam in the southern village of Seeta in Sindh province. The charred remains of the Koran were found the next morning.

"He was alone in the mosque during the night," Memon said. "There was no one else there to do this terrible thing."

Villagers beat the man then handed him over to police. A few hours later, a crowd of around 200 stormed the police station, dragged the man out and set him on fire, said Usman Ghani, the senior superintendent of police in Dadu district.

Ghani said around 30 people had been arrested for the murder and seven police detained for negligence.

At least 53 people have been killed in Pakistan since 1990 after being accused of blasphemy, according to the Center for Research and Security Studies, and accusations are becoming more frequent.

Blasphemy in Pakistan is punishable by death but it is not specifically defined by law. During court cases, lawyers often do not wish to repeat evidence against the accused for fear of being blasphemous themselves.

People have been arrested for just discussing or writing about Islam, making mistakes in homework or not joining protests against a film insulting Islam. In some cases, the accusers have had financial disputes with those who are accused.

Most recently, international attention focused on the case of Rimsha Masih, a Christian teenager accused of having some burnt pages of a child's exercise book quoting the Koran in a bag of rubbish she was carrying.

The case was dismissed last month after a neighbor came forward to say she was framed, possibly to chase Christians out of her neighborhood.

In the past two years, two senior Pakistani officials who suggested reforming the laws have been shot dead, one by his own bodyguard. Lawyers threw rose petals at the killer and the judge who convicted him was forced to flee the country.

Actually, I pretty much agree with you. I also think we could do without the extremist element of Islam and be better off. Any religion or faction of a religion that preaches intolerance is part of the problem, not the solution. However, most religions, if you get right down to their message and don't distort it are part of the solution. Unfortunately, it's not usually obvious, even to the supposed adherents.

Atheism is a religious belief. If you don't believe anything or don't know what to believe your agnostic.

Agnosticism is the belief that man can not know whether there is or isn't a god-being out there. You could consider this a religion I suppose. But atheism is the rejection of the idea of a god. And you can not have religion without a god or being of worship.

Of the valid religions in the OP, I'd say Islam. There's just a lot of bad shit that goes on in the name of that religion - jihad and sharia law come to mind. Not to say that Christianity and Judaism doesn't have their share of nutbags. They just seem to pale in comparison.

I respect all true religions that believe in love over hatred. Technically, I guess atheism is a fervent religious belief against religion, but not an organized one.

I only really deplore and distrust the religion of politics, advertising, and the infotainment media.

So my vote, none of the above.

'All of them' is missing.

But obviously christianity if I had to choose. None of the others have so many followers that hypocritically condemn others and try to 'save' them.

I'd rather be bombed by a muslim radical than preached to by an evangelical christian.
